I've never driven it without the AC on yet, so it's hard to tell. Seems like it has plenty of power though, for a 1 liter 3-cyl.
I shoot it up to speed as quickly as possible using the assist and shifting at around 3K, then in third gear between 45-50 mph I jump straight into 5th gear, where I get an average mpg of between 65-75. It seems the quicker I get up to speed the better the overall mpg, and of course the slower I drive in fifth gear the better.
I use the econ button on the AC when I'm in town, so it autostops at lights much like I was doing in the Black Widow (only without any effort). But when I'm on the highway I turn off the econ mode and it's fully blasting, and with the AC and stereo cranked I can still average 65-70 mpg.

Anybody got any tips for squeezing more mpgs out of it?
