Id do what ever the manual says. Usually its alone the line of dont keep the engine at a constant speed, dont exceed certain speeds in certain gears if its a stick or 70 mph over all in any gear, etc. Then some say leave the first oil in the engine til an indicator goes off.
The gen 2 insight for example takes a good 10 thousand miles before you exceed 60 mpg.
