Preliminary update:
Centurion has scored a partial victory as of today!

Over the last several weeks of testing, a new benchmark has been achieved.
Previous top speed: 65mph
Current max intermittent top speed: 88mph (the exact speed the flux capacitor will kick in at )

Initially, overall fuel economy (at legal road speeds) took a very discouraging hit. Discouraging in this case means plummeting to a scant 115 mpg
That issue may be mostly resolved pending the outcome of the latest two fuel fills.

With any major change there are trade-offs. The trade-off this time is the Tri-Magnum under the cover in the next stall, waiting, and waiting, and waiting...
