Many years ago i was pulled over at 1am. I think he was looking for a curfew violation. I was over 18, and on my way home from work. I was polite and answered his questions and the he gave me a ticket saying my brake lights didn't work. I watched the reflection in his windshield as i pumped the brakes. They worked fine. I said thank you, i'll have to look at that in the morning, and took the ticket. Ten minutes later, i stopped at the station and had the desk officer cancel the ticket. He asked if i wanted to file A complaint, i said 'no, just tell him when he comes in that if he was suspicious, that's fine i didn't mind the stop, just the bogus ticket.'
