ExDelayed, I was on many supply missions in Afghanistan. We got cargo straps as tight as we could and then called to the vehicle behind us throughout the convoy, asking how our load looked. It seemed completely useless, if it was a gun truck, they always told us that we were good, until they radioed up that we lost something.
