Well the overheating seems to be solved. Coming to work just now I have to climb a hill that I always get hot on, and sure enough, stayed dead at 199-203F. It seems to run cooler now when cruising, probably because the fans aren't blocking air from entering the car and they are providing additional airflow around the engine.
