Yeah, I had the same lack of Tachometer. You can use mph as a rough guide though. To shift at roughly 2000 rpm, you want to shift at 10, 20, 30, 40 mph. And 50 if you had a 6th gear . If you're just cruising on local streets and not accelerating, 5th is plenty good at 30 mph.
