The VSP pedestrian warning sound, as far as I can tel, has it's speaker in or around the driver's front wheel well. I have asked the service guy at the dealer to check into it for me - he had no idea that the Leaf even made a noise. It apparently is modulated and works up to ~18MPH. Above that, there is just the faintest gear whine audible in the car, if you are driving with the stereo off.

My spouse seems to be settling in to around 120MPGe / 280Wh/mile on her commute. She drives with the headlights at night, and so far with virtually no cabin heat or seat heat needed.

I am hoping our JuiceBox arrives ahead of schedule (about 3 weeks from when I ordered it) and I will have to figure out about wiring it in. Having much shorter charge times will allow the car to be used a lot more.
