My guess is that it is the tires - this is the Leaf S with 16" steel wheels, so I think the tires are a slightly different size and/or model from the higher trim levels with the 17" alloy wheels.

Our car has Bridgestone Ecopia EP422 205/55-16, while the SL and SV models have Michelin Energy Saver A/S 215/50-17 standard.

Edit: I checked the stock tire sizes; the Leaf S have an OD of 24.9", and the SL and SV models have 25.5". Guess what?

25.5" - 2.3% = 24.9135"
