Id call the dealer before hand. I had an electric wheelchair that was nearly dead and the shop did not charge it. When I went to pick it up it was in limp mode with a low battery alarm. I just left it there after tearing into them and continued using the rental as it didnt have enough power for me to get home. They charged it, but charged my insurance a charge and I had to fight that, but did win.
