Hmmmmm, since I can remove the ones on my roof, I should be able to do the following test :
1 - Temporarily disconnect the rear wiper motor so that it doesn't clean the window.
2 - Drive at highway speeds without airtabs on roof.
3 - Turn on wiper so that cleaning fluid squirts out.
4 - Observe effect.
5 - Clean off window.
6 - Add Airtabs.
7 - Repeat steps 2, 3, and 4.
