If you aren't towing look at getting a set of the smaller paddle style mirrors, they show up on craigslist a lot as guys swap them out for the tow mirrors like you have. Check the free EX parts thread on FTE, I think a set or two has been posted there, you just pay shipping to you. My EX came with the paddles and I upgraded to the '08+ style tow mirrors, I pull a long TT so they were needed in my case.
