All it needs a VSS pulse input (4 pulses/wheel revolution) from a speedometer sending unit and the pulse output from one of the fuel injectors. You pick the speedometer signal off between the sending unit and the ECU, the injector signal between the ECU and the injector. Voltage wise everything should work, but since you are working with an 8 cylinder rather than the 4 cylinder it was designed to work with, hopefully there will be enough adjustment in the fuel parameter pot to get the km/L to read correctly. If not you might have to settle for it reading half or double the correct value like you do to get it to read mpg (since it is set up to read in km/L, the fuel parameter pot only has enough adjustment in it to allow it to display an mpg value that is half of your correct value, so when using it, you read the "mpg" value off the SuperMID and double it to get the correct mpg's.). I haven't heard of any V8 installations so far.
