One area where Honda has gained an advantage, IMHO, is styling. Hondas used to be very boring, but in America they have more recent versions of cars for sale and it shows. Compare the Corolla and the Civic and you tell me which looks more like a 21st century car. The last freshening of the Camry was 3 years ago and it's up against an entirely new Accord.
