I'm used to my old ('67 and '71) VWs that had no heater to speak of, so wearing a full coat and beanie, shivering, and defrosting the windshield with a rag until it warms up is not that big of a deal for me. :P
I can understand not wanting to suffer and/or not wanting fogged windows, though.
