175/70 r13 to 155/80 r13 on a hyundai accent.
Currently I have on 175/70 r13 tires. I was wondering (dont need tires for a bit) if I was to switch to 155/80 r13 what would be the pros and cons along with the impact on mpg. Pros I know are better mpg, tires are cheaper and lighter especially since ill be going down to a 13 x 4.5 rim instead of my current 13 x 5. Cons I know is handling ofcourse drops and road noise goes up a bit. What I was wondering if there would be any other negatives like off alignment or overwieght on the rims. Also I do know the skinnier tires have less drag also. And how bad is the handling difference?
