Somebody over at IC said it's charging to a higher voltage because my pack is a little weak, and that yours topping out at 170 is a sign of a really good battery.
I guess I'm going to pull mine off the charger, I don't know that going any higher will help anything.
I also bought a battery tender for the 12V battery that I'm going to install today once it warms up a bit (after me any my son go kayaking anyway)
