I was thinking along the same lines, but last time I checked, I think the 155/80-13's were more expensive, and much less available. Would you even recoup the extra cost over the 175?

A con of the 155 may be braking traction, especially in wet conditions. That is a serious concern. But I have driven cars on 175's and never experienced a safety issue, maybe 155's are fine to
