drove my grandparents 3rd gen again last friday, 48.3mpg with appx. 175mi. on the trip when we left, 50.6mpg with appx. 225mi. on the trip when we got back, 50.1mpg at first half. There is a difference between the 2nd and 3rd gen prii for sure! What I came up with was a slightly more efficient engine, plus more electric only power allowed, the 2nd gen prii seem to spend all of their time conserving battery
any idea how to "spoof" the system to allow more ev only power?
