1993 Honda Civic VX for sale in Tampa Florida. Asking $2,500. Looking to move quickly.
We have owned this car for 12 years and put all but the first 50k miles on it. It is cosmetically somewhat rough inside and out (dirty, faded paint, a few dents/scrapes), but mechanically very well kept. Runs and drives great. Key mechanical points:
AC works great. Complete AC System was replaced about 3yrs ago.
Recent full tune-up using all OEM Honda parts (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, filters)
Relatively recent Michelin tires. Lots of tread.
High quality Bilstein front struts (OEM height and stiffness, just more controlled ride). Replaced all moving parts in front suspension when these were installed (212k miles IIRC).
Exceptional fuel economy. Rated at 53 from the factory which translates to 49 in today's measurements.

Always fastidiously maintained mechanically. Oil changes every 3,000, air filter every 20k, fuel filter every 40k, tune-up every 60k. Probably over-doing it but I like for my cars to run exactly as-new and stay that way. This one does even with the mileage.
Haven't done CV shafts or timing belt in a while so those may need attention in the relatively near future. Otherwise it should be ready to go another 200k miles!

Selling because our family outgrew the two-door. Replaced with a 4-door wagon. Not interested in trades except for a Trials motorcycle or new-ish hang glider (like a Falcon).
