What has more then made the $20 I have in the Torque pro app and bluetooth OBDII sender, is the many times I have read and cleared codes. Not just on my cars but my families as well. I just bought a 2008 Aspen that had the check engine light on during the test drive. I read the code during the test drive, looked up the code on the web with a simple click, found out how easy it was to fix, checked the part was $32, and then negotiated an additional $1000 more off the price because the light was on, service center was closed, and they wanted to make the sale and go home. My subaru often throws the converter efficiency code when on the highway for an hour. No big deal but it also disables the cruise control. The torque app can clear the code while running in a few seconds without even slowing down. Get a scanguage if you constantly want to know MPG, but even if you have a scanguage you still need the torque app IMO.
