When in doubt, after you block the grille / install an air dam, a tuft test will tell what direction the air is going in.
I was surprised to see the direction of airflow on my car when i tufted it.
For instance, the air just skipped over the channels on my A pillars, versus being channeled over the car. ( The car is a '93 Civic )
I really like the look of your car, style wise. I had a '69 Camaro for short while myself.
Never drove it.
