There was a thread a while back with tips on buying a used G1 Insight, and what to watch out for.
Perhaps I'm just confusing it a bit with MetroMPGs thread on reworking the battery pack,
though I seem to remember a thread on what to look for and what to watch out for.
I need to bookmark it, but I'm not having any luck finding it using the usual search words.
Anyone here have it bookmarked ?
I currently have a Civic hatch that suits me just fine for all of my needs, but I still daydream of owning an Insight one day though.
One thing I love about the Civic hatch is that I can fit large canvases and even a full size mountain bike in the back if I fold the rear seats down.
Just for laughs, I would love to see what you guys are capable of stuffing in the back of an Insight.
I saw that one of you guys here on EM stuffed a full size bike in a CRX ( with the handle bars loosened and turned sideways of course. ...and maybe the front wheel taken off as well )
BTW, I actually drove an 8' maple tree to my parents. One of the great things about the '92 - '95 Civic Hatchbacks is the 'mini' tailgate.
I just folded down the seats and let the tree hang out the back with the tailgate up.
About half of the tree stuck out, but I made it there just fine.
That tree is over twenty feet tall now.
So, please if you guys could see what you can fit back there i would appreciate it !
