Diesel s10

about 20 years ago I bought a 1984 Mazda diesel pick up It was just about rusted out but I drove it for about a year. About 1 year after I started driving it the frame started to flex so much the doors would not stay shut On very hot days I could get 50 mpg on a Canadian Gallon but got 40 most of the time: I pulled the drivetrain and put it in a s10 with a 3 cylinder dieselIt was reasonably easy to install with thoe only issue being extending the driveshaft . It worked reasonably well but the s10 did weigh about 500 lbs more than the Mazda and never really performed as well I sold it about 5 years ago and now am buyng it back I have owned several diesel vw and my last was a TDI that I could get 60 mpg Canadian if I droveit carefully Iwant my next project to be a 3 wheeler so I am looking for design Ideas Brian
