I see so when you did the engine swap somehow one cylinder got lost i don't get it how does it go from four cylinders to three from going from the Mazda to the Chevy anyhow that is a neat idea and a good project i suppose it should still get nearly as good mpg because 500 pounds isn't all that much when youare talking diesels and pickups so anyway i'm not clear on where you're at with this do you have the s10 running or not there are a quite a few discussions here about three wheelers and also pics from those that have made their own trikes some of them are quite cool I sure wish I could see 'em in person but pics will have to do for now yes a trike would be fun although some speculate that they'd be bad in the winter because of that one wheel that goes down the middle- not in the existing tire tracks also you get to register it as a motorcycle there may be some cost savings there but then do you have to wear a helmet who knows it probably varies from state to state or state to province or province to province there are those who argue that the tadpole layout is superior to the tricycle layout but i think it all depends on what performance parameters you are looking for for hardcore acceleration the tricycle layout is best for hardcore braking the tadpole is best now when it comes to cornering i'm not sure because either layout can be made to corner outstanding it depends on the weight and balance well more than anything the cg where it is fore and aft and also vertically
