That's a nice-looking car, too bad this bodystyle was never available in my country (only the sedan and the Caddy panel van, both sourced from Argentina). Regarding engine, even though you may initially think a direct-injection SDI would be better, actually the IDI still has its value since it's more tollerant to lower-grade Diesel fuels and is more suitable to a veggie oil conversion. If I were you I would be looking for an SVO/WVO kit. On a sidenote, in spite of the currently low availability of IDI Diesels in my country, a few researches have shown they actually run more efficiently on vegetable oils than either regular Diesel fuel or biodiesel.
