I had one of these
with the 1.9 IDI TD (XUDT ?) which was ace and the later 2.0 HDi which was slower but used less fuel. The latter pursuaded me into a Pug 206 HDi 2.0 but that proved to be less than great as the power steering was broken and couldn't be removed.
