Corvette has a glass panel in the hood to see the engine, you could do the same with Ron. Not looking at a blown V8 kinda kills the cool factor but I think a glass panel would look much better than a scoop. Maybe just leave the panel there and not functioning?? It's not that bad looking from the pics and doesn't stand out like crazy either.
