And I've researched a bit but don't see anything major you can do to this cars engine . Do you have a suggestion on where to start with this? It don't have lean burn and mostly gets it's efficiency from running at 2k rpms at 70 MPH on the highway and low rpms as I can pull a hill at 1000 rpms in almost any gear. I mean yeah the small intake and 1.5l help but I'd like to get into the 60s without too much coasting if I can? currently only getting 41 and I keep a steady speed and speed up down hills and slow down up hills when possible.

The first thing I would do is get a management system. I love the Neptune RTP.

1988-1991 Civic/CRX Si-HF or swapped cars (can use OBD1 ECU and OBD1 tools with OBD1/OBD2 distributor swap and conversion harness)

Once you have a tunable ECU your gains will be worth it.

Then it gets into how much you want to do as far as the engine build and a single turbo system or a turbo compound system?

My major fuel mileage gains are from lean burn with zero intake pumping
losses. So keep in mind your local state might have some issues with you running lean burn and emissions.

The other thing to keep in mind is when my car goes into lean burn and ultra lean burn it takes some time to get used to the power loss and the throttle. Your first instinct is to let off the gas and and start to pull over thinking the engine is going to stall.lol I recently got the pleasure of driving a VX Civic with lean burn and my car is 10 times more sensitive when it goes into lean burn. The average driver wouldn't even want to drive my car because of this built in hole in the tune.

Anyway I hope that helps.
