Post dated 2-10-15, predicted a week or so for something to start happening. This morning the low temperature at Norfolk International Airport was 18, 1 degree above the all time record low for this day 3-7. It's my brothers 59th birthday, so we got together with Mon and Pop for lunch. He is going to do some more welding this Thursday or Friday and I plan on doing some mocking up and prep for his 4-5 hours of welding.
The snow has finally melted and should finish melting by tomorrow when it is supposed to hit 60 degrees. The ground has been covered by snow for 20 days now, which is pretty rare here.
I'll get some photos up as soon is something worth photographing. Predicting a week a month ago brought on the 3rd coldest February on record, with the single day lowest high temperature record being broken by 8 degrees.
So much for predictions. At least the work to this point has faded somewhat in my memory, might help a bit with future inspiration. I need to get the title process started.
