I've missed a lot of opportunities to ride Lafawnda (my Honda) this mild winter. I promised myself that I wouldn't take her out until I adjusted the valves and put new tires on. The valve adjustment requires cam removal, and I've never gone that deep into an engine before. I'm just procrastinating from the inevitable PITA it's going to be. I once spent 3 hours replacing the cam chain tensioner, which is only held on by 2 visible bolts. I think the tool I made involved masking tape, magnets, swivels, extensions, and the socket and wrench.
Good luck with those valves!
