Update 3/21/2015: Aero Work Continued...
Gorgeous weather here in NC today. Got a lot done.
Started by giving the car and OEM bra a good washing. Let the bra parts hang dry. After some degreasing and agitation with a toothbrush, the Civic embroidery on the bra looks as-new again.
Installed some visors I ordered off of Ebay. They'll be good enough for now, until I can source an OEM set in the (far off) future.
Some friends came over and helped me to hold the panels while I ran a few screws in. My first drill into the rear quarters was painful.
There's no going back now!
There only a few screws holding on the panels, so fitment looks extra horrible. As you can see, there is
LOTS of work still left to do on the rear end. I've got many hours ahead in fitment, trimming, shaping, drilling, sanding, etc... before paint work can begin on the panels and they can be ran on the street. I'll keep you all posted. So far, so good, however.
Finished off the day with some CF vinyl wrapping. I did the mirror block offs and the OEM antenna block in the vinyl tonight. Fun and easy work. Grille and fog covers will be done also, to match. They must, however, be painted first.
More to come soon. Thank
you for
eco-tuning in!
