MB's air sucking and blowing device comes at a penalty; the belly pan can't be anything near as smooth as the Tesla's.
I'm puzzled about the front diffuser. I'd expect it would be better to divert air away from the front rather than channel it in like this seems to do, but maybe it just functions like an air dam this way.
Then again, an air dam ahead of the mother of all belly pans?
Is it so good that the air better be directed under the center of the car than towards the wheel wells?
