Yoou can try to find fuel consumption signal going from your ECU. Many new ECUs have one. I've used it to hook up MPGuino to my BMW tds. It worked like a charm.

I can;t tell you if the signal from the injectors of CRDI engine will be sufficient for MPGuino, but I may try it with my wife's Cirtoen with HDI (similar to CRDI) engine. But don;t expect any quick results, I'm running out of time recently.
