My wife had a hard time finding a job out of college while I immediately jumped into my career and lived with my parents. I was buying and selling my daily drivers and keeping the camaro.

My wife got a job teaching in arlington, the drive from plano to arlington was 60 miles each way. I bought a 96 eclipse gs show car with about 80k miles on it for a daily that she used. After her first month she said the low oil light came on, I got in the car and she had gone 5k miles in that 1-2 month window. She was getting 28mpg which was outstanding, at that time the most I had ever seen a dual over head cam engine get was 22-24 mpg

We sold it two years later after having persistent problems with timing belt tensioners. We loved that car but I have a strict 3 tow rule and it had broken down a few times around town so it was time for it to go
