Use the pros when you need it...

I bought my Meat-ro in pretty bad shape. One of the things wrong with it was that it had been in a frontal impact. I got most of it banged out, and have been driving it for sometime.

Yesterday, while topping off (my tires that is ) I noticed that my tires were already looking rough. I took the car in for an alignment check today. Now keep in mind that 1/16 of an inch off is all it takes to cause abnormal wear.

Dvr. front: 1/2in off
Pas. front: sweet
Dvr. rear: 2in off!!!!!!!
Pas. rear: 1/8in off

I did a lot of DIY when putting the car back on the road, but apparently the impact had hurt the car in more ways than I thought of. Hell, I was pretty much dragging that dvr rear tire. No wonder my car had a wicked shimmy at 60 or more.

The sweet thing is that I was already getting 49mpg avg. I think this will get me even better.
