For some of us, making little changes here and there is the limit of our competence, "dipping our toes in," so to speak. I've done probably 20 engine swaps. I admit it can be fun. I also don't see much reason to swap a perfectly good engine out of a daily driver, for something from a junk yard that may have unforseen issues.
