I was just reading a magazine today. It seems Hyundai is about to start on road testing of this technology. They also claim to have surpassed diesel thermal efficiency with their single cylinder version of their GDCI engine. They also note that this is NOT HCCI technology that runs traditional otto and HCCI cycles. It runs in GDCI only. Engine compression is 14.8:1 and its supercharged.
