I sealed up the back bumper for a test with the underbody panels and it didn't make any difference. I figure something in the rear of the Metro design isn't liking the rear sealed up. I would guess the only way to test it would be to get a video of the back end on a rainy day at speed and see what is going on. I might put the front section back on this summer when I have the car up in the air but I have other experiments to work on first.
At least I did fix the O2 sensor and upgraded from the bad 1 wire sensor to a 4 wire sensor so that should help some. I just need to fix the gas tank and I am hopefully back into the mid 60mpg range.
