I got to see a Mirai at the GGP. Toyota is committed to building it. Mostly in Japan though, he said something about America. The styling is meh, the interior didn't look that roomy for the cars size, you know with a giant fuel cell, hydrogen tank, and battery buffer. It looks like they've made it at a decent price which is impressive considering not to long ago that car would cost a million dollars.

But the way i see it, hydrogen is not a fuel source, it is energy storage like a battery is energy storage. You can store a lot of energy in the form of hydrogen, same as a battery. Only Hydrogen wastes much more energy, why not just use batteries?
