generally,aircraft have such high fineness/aspect ratios,that attached flow is a forgone conclusion.
For short field takeoff and landing they may employ vortex generators to help keep flow attached to flaps at high angles of attack.
Vortex generators perform better than dimples,so they're never used.
Golf balls use dimples,as they cannot be knocked off the ball by either the club or ground strike.They're a compromised form of VGs.
