I had a new personal best range and efficiency (on Number 7, anyway): 110 miles (just over 1 mile left!) and it used 24.2kWh, so that is 220Wh/mile or 153.2MPGe. I now know it goes into "turtle" mode at ~5 miles range left, which is Eco+ and it is limited to 55MPH; but I was driving well under that, anyway.

This matches my seat of the pants impression that the e-Golf is still not coasting as well as the Leaf, and the Leaf has been slightly more efficient on any given day.

Another really cool thing about the e-Golf is that it's backup camera is located behind the VW logo on the hatch - which is already acting as the latch handle. When you put it in reverse, a servo angles the logo outward, and the camera then pops out.

My son figured this out, and he realized that it actually has a benefit, too - the camera lens stays clean. Which is actually a problem on the Leaf.
