The Fiesta from that generation is a POS, doesn't seem worth to keep. About the Suzuki, all I have to say is that it's now very popular in Uruguay due to its fuel-economy, but since your daily commuting involves some hilly terrain you shouldn't expect to reach the same 25km/l some Uruguayans are achieving in road traffic.
