I got some pictures to share of the Metro accessory belt area. It should shed more light on how this mod will be done. As you can see, its very simple and thankfully there is lots of room.


Here are a couple of shots of the area. You can see its very simple. Just the alternator and water pump are being driven by the crankshaft.






Here we have the water pump pulley. I've decided I'm just going to bolt the new pulley to the existing pulley with the 4 bolts. There is plenty of room there. I'll be using some nylon washers to space away from and insulate the new plastic pulley from the metal oem pulley. This should keep it protected from getting too hot. This also allows me to throw the belt on if I ever need to take a drive longer than my battery can sustain.





This is where I'm thinking of mounting the motor. There should be enough room up top. If not, the next option is down under the motor mount.
