Thanks. There's clutch work and a hitch between me and having a trailer; but, what I lean toward right now would be a single wheel Gothic arch flatbed. If I ignore the width through the fenders and start at the B-pillar I only need an additional three feet. At that length it could hinge up with a folding wheel I don't know if you've seen this in a while:
The top could be basalt twill over bows or overlapping plates, like the fingers in a suit of armor. The pivots would be tie-rod ends and the suspension and axle would be from a Vespa motor scooter.
