About your questions, I consulted the pictures of the Thing. Overall length to the hitch probably 150". The proportions and size of the box is very similar to my Westfalia utility trailer's, 4'. The hitch length is similar to the width of the gas tan, so 12". I'd estimate 210" overall, or 17.5', and 3.5' hitch to axle.
Obviously there is no dampening on the hitch. So what's left is tire pressure and does it pitch at all. Now all I have to do is find someone with a trailer.
