Hi everyone, this is my build thread. I have a 93 VX with 115k miles that I just bought a couple weeks ago in San Francisco. I do deliveries for Google Shopping Express with it and drive 50-150 miles a day with it anywhere and everywhere in the silicon valley so saving gas is a must!
To do:
Interior
-mpguino/scan gauge
-vacuum gauge
-led dome light
-federal ecu
-stereo upgrade ~1000 watts (speakers, head unit, amp, sub in passenger footwell)
-phone mount
-alarm, kill switches, brake/clutch lock
-short shifter
-vacuum and shampoo carpet and seats
-hand throttle? Need to learn more
Exterior
-front air dam
-powder coat or paint rims, brake calipers, windshield wiper metal, whatever I can black
-tint all windows with good heat rejection film
-lower a couple of inches
-new license plates. The current ones are all dented, old and ugly
-white plate lights
-clear taillights
-clean, polish and wax
-antenna delete
-matching hood and bumpers if I can find them
-black powder coated metal plate frame
-clean underside of car
-smooth underbody
Engine/exhaust
-steam clean engine bay
-find and fix that rattling sound
-big 3 upgrade for sound system.
-5 wire o2 sensor
-general maintenance
-powder coat valve cover black or white
-quieter muffler and resonator
That's all I can think of for now. I don't plan on doing any extreme aeromods, I'd like to keep it close to stock. If there are other mods you think I should do, please let me know!
I'm going to take some photos today of the car so I can show you guys the before and after cleaning the entire car. This is the only one I have right now. In the pic is my 92 Vx with 275k miles
