The 32 inch nose and 36 inch boat tail I am contemplating adds 5.6 feet to my trailer. The whole trailer will become 25 feet long instead of the current body length of 19.5 feet. not including the tongue and bumper. While the base frontal area is 62 sq ft the rear of the trailer measures out to 58 sq ft. The boat tail will reduce this area to 37 sq ft. The faring of the AC unit would then really reduce the comparative wake area by about 40% if it were enclosed properly. It remains to be seen what this will actually do in real world driving but we are going to give it a shot
