Actually it's about .75mi longer. However that added distance is without the engine running.
Total fuel consumed is not too different, .005gal less.
The 111mpg is NOT a representation of what the car does on a regular basis, but seeing as I make the trip from office to home almost every day, I get excited when I beat my previous best trip mpg.
