Hey there,
I made a wire harness specifically for the buttons/panel. It's about 2.5 long and stretches up to the a-pillar to connect to the MPGuino at the enclosure there. For the harness, details are below:

-Each of the buttons on the panel simply have a positive and negative terminal/connection. For the positives, I ran one wire up to the guino and connected where they are supposed to go on the guino ECU for buttons 1, 2, and 3.
- For the negative terminals, I simply connected a "stream" of ground, connecting each buttons ground to each other, and then I ran one wire connected to that "stream" of buttons up to a bolt up under the dash to ground it. (so, one wire grounds all three buttons)

- For all wires in the harness (4 total; 3 positives and the one aforementioned ground wire), I have quick-disconnect (male/female) spade connectors just behind the button panel, so that I can remove the panel and re-install it quickly when need be. I marked both sides of the spade connectors on each wire with a sharpie, labeling them with "1" "2" "3" and "-" to mark which wires were which.

Hope this helps!
